Greetings Brethren,
Below is information regarding the 300th Anniversary Celebration of the formation of the Grand Lodge of England, in which our modern Freemasonry took its roots.
All Masons and their significant others, especially all of our newest Master Masons raised at the Grand Master’s One Day Class, and their Master Craftsmen will be invited to attend a 300th Anniversary Celebration of Modern Freemasonry at the Heath Masonic Complex located at 875 Irving Wick Drive, Heath, OH 43056 on Saturday afternoon, June 24, 2017 starting at 12pm, where they will be officially declared Proficient.
Just a reminder per the Grand Master’s Edict No. 3 regarding the One Day Class:
If a new Master Mason from the Grand Master's Class cannot for sufficient reason comply with the above requirement to attend his Lodge prior to June 24, 2017, the Worshipful Master may authorize an extension of time, which must be recorded in the minutes of the Lodge. The new Master Mason with such an extension will not be proficient until he returns and attends his home Lodge, at which time, the Worshipful Master with be authorized to declare him proficient.
If a Grand Master's Class Master Mason neglects or refuses to comply with the above requirement, he shall be declared to be suspended as if he had not complied with Section 27.02(d) of the Grand Lodge Code.
The suspended Master Mason may reinstate himself by passing the Master Mason examination in open Lodge. His examination must be from memory and it must meet the minimum proficiency requirements as defined in Section 27.02(a) of the Grand Lodge Code.
This will be held in a “Table Lodge” style with several toasts. The meal will consist of hamburgers and hotdogs and various side dishes. There is not cost for the meal but donations are gladly accepted. Social Hour will begin at 11:00am. Please RSVP via email (Preferably through the Lodge Secretary) to RWB Adam Wilson at r_adam_wilson@outlook.com by Saturday June 17th indicating how many guests will be attending so we can plan accordingly on the food. Dress will be business casual (eg: slacks, polo shirt)
